Morehead State's cross country teams both finished fifth at Saturday's Bluegrass Invitational at Masterson Station Park. The course conditions were wet with rain falling.

Led by top-15 finishes from four athletes, the Morehead State men's and women's cross country teams opened their seasons with fourth place showings at the Queen City Invitational Saturday.

The Morehead State cross country teams are ready to begin their 2015 seasons. Both teams will take part in the Queen City Invitational in Mason, Ohio, this Saturday.

Seventeen Morehead State athletes earned a 4.0 grade-point average in 2014-15 and have been awarded an Ohio Valley Conference Academic Medal of Honor, presented by Army ROTC.

Nearly 100 Morehead State athletes have been named to the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for 2014-15.
